Irma Lois Casey Gill, 72, passed away on Monday, January 10, 2011 at Bristol Regional Medical Center.
She was born February 28, 1938 in Washington County, VA, a daughter of the late James Polk and Margaret Reynolds Casey.
She is survived by four brothers: Samuel Casey of Unicoi, TN; Rufus Casey of Bristol, TN; William Casey and Charles Casey, both of Abingdon; seven sisters: Edith Ferguson of Bristol, TN; Ruthey Casey of Bristol, VA; Ella Mae Cox of Burlington, NJ; Irene Dye of Bristol, VA; Betty Lovell of McMinnville, TN; Ruby Honeycutt of Lenoir, NC; and Linda Casey of Oregon; several nieces and nephews, including a special nephew, David Michael Casey of Bristol, TN.
The family would like to express thanks to her special niece, Donna Ekelberg, for the loving care she gave Lois during her sickness.
The family will receive friends beginning at 1:30 P.M. Wednesday. A graveside service for Lois Gill will be conducted at 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, January 12, 2011, in the Colonial Chapel Mausoleum at Forest Hills Memory Gardens with Pastor Paul White officiating. Honorary pallbearers will be Layton Gill, Shannon Casey, Dean Casey, Alvin Casey, Kim Casey, Shane Casey, Brad Casey, Jamie Casey, Chuck Casey, Adam Hickman and Jason Dye.
