Iva Jo England Owens

Abingdon, VA – Iva Jo England Owens, age 84, passed on Saturday, June 9, 2018, at her home.  Mrs. Owens lived most of her life in Grundy, VA  before moving to Abingdon in the late 1990’s.  She was a graduate of Hurley High School and owner/operated  of A.N.S. Furniture in Grundy, VA along with her late husband, Aven Owens. She was an active member of Holston Valley Baptist Church.   In addition to her husband, Mrs. Owens was preceded in death by her daughter, Josanna Owens; parents, Steward and Lola Allen England; two brothers; and six sisters. She is survived by her sons, Kem Owens and wife Doris of Richlands, VA and Cory Owens and wife Diane of Augusta, GA; grandchildren, Timothy Owens and wife Heidi, Andrew Owens and wife Courtney, Mandy VanDyke, Courtney Owens, and John Owens; and six great grandchildren. A private graveside service was held at Holston Valley Baptist Memorial Gardens where Rev.
