JB Reynolds, 54, passed away on Tuesday, October 23, 2012 at Johnson City Medical Center.

JB was a life-long resident of Washington County, VA and loved fishing. He was preceded in death by his father, John Banner Reynolds and one sister, Nanny Reynolds.

Survivors include his wife, Tammy Osborne Reynolds; his mother, Dorothy Reynolds; three sons, Jason Osborne, Millbrook, AL, Jared Reynolds, Glade Spring, VA and Christopher Davis, Montgomery, AL; three daughters, Valerie Boardwine and her husband, Willie, Crystal Fields and her husband, Randy, and Tabitha Hess and her husband, John all of Glade Spring, VA; five brothers, Rev. Fred Reynolds and his wife Doris of Abingdon, Bobby Reynolds and his wife, Wanda of Abingdon, Slimp Reynolds and his wife, Margaret of Abingdon, Moses Reynolds and his wife, Mary of Glade Spring, and Albert Reynolds and his wife, Alisha of Bristol, VA; five sisters, Peggy Miller and her husband, Ballard of Abingdon, Ellen Black and her husband, Roger of Smith Mountain Lake, Tinie Campbell of Glade Spring, Naomi Fields of Abingdon, and Bonnie Boardwine and her husband, David; seven grandchildren; special friends, Clay and Ida Cochrane; and several nieces and nephews.

The funeral service for JB Reynolds will be held at 8:00 p.m. Thursday, October 25, 2012 at the Main Street Chapel of Farris Funeral Service with Pastor Clifton Duncan officiating. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. until the time of the service. The burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, October 26, 2012 at Knollkreg Memorial Park. Those wishing to attend the committal service are asked to assemble at the cemetery by 10:50 a.m. Pallbearers will be Rick Widener, Roger Osborne, Arthur Weathers, Clay Cochrane, Ray Bowman, Jason Osborne, Jared Reynolds and Calvin Woodward.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, PO Box 246, Abingdon, VA 24212. The family would like to thank the nurses and doctors at Johnson City Medical Center and the staff of the Regional Cancer Center in Johnson City for the care they provided to JB.
