James Gilbert "Gib" Balthazrr, age 54, escaped his tired body and his tortured mind when he left this world to rest in Jesus' arms on Thursday, December 12, 2013.
He was preceded in death by his father, Kenneth Kildner Balthazrr.
He is survived by his mother, Rosa Lee Martin Balthazrr; two brothers, Howard Lee Balthazrr of Key West, FL and Kenneth Wayne Balthazrr and wife Angie of Montgomery, AL; two sisters, Bonnie Sue Thompson and husband Donnie of Abingdon, VA and Joyce Ann Osborne of the home; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be from 1:00-3:30 p.m., Monday, December 16th at the Main Street Chapel of Farris Funeral Service. A funeral service will be held at 3:30p.m., Monday at the funeral home with the Reverend Michael Booker officiating. A committal service will follow at Mountain View Methodist Cemetery off Rt. 75 where cousins and nephews will serve as pallbearers.
