James Harold Sharrett, Sr. of Bristol, VA passed away at his home on Saturday March 16, 2013. He was 66 years old. Mr. Sharrett was a retiree of Sprint, where he was a 27 year employee, and was of Christian Faith.
Mr. Sharrett is survived by his only child, James Harold Sharrett, Jr., age 39 of Bristol, VA; 2 brothers David Sharrett and Marvin Sharett, both of Bristol, TN, 3 sisters; Launa Goodson of Bristol, VA, Verna Woods and Edna Broome both of Bristol, TN.
A memorial service for Mr. James Harold Sharrett, Sr. will be held Wednesday March 20, 2013at 2:00 pm at the Farris Funeral Service Chapel, with Rev. John E. Massey, Jr. officiating.
Mr. Sharrett's son, Jimmy, would like to thank Abingdon Hometown Hospice for their care and support in his Father's final weeks. He is also grateful to the Bristol based Veterans Outpatient Clinic; especially Drs. Barbara Overbay and Ashley Taylor for their dedicated service and support.
