On November 18, 2011, Jeffery Von Willis, 51, son of Millie Phipps Willis of Abingdon and the late Leonard Von Willis, went with the angels to join his daddy in heaven and to be with Jesus.
Besides his mother, Jeff is also survived by his sister, Rebecca Ann Willis of Abingdon. The family wishes to thank the many wonderful people at Southwestern Virginia Training Center in Hillsville, who cared for Jeff during his many years there.
The funeral service for Jeff Willis will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, November 21, 2011, at the Forest Hills Chapel of Farris Funeral Service, 19415 Lee Highway, Abingdon, with the Rev. Dr. Steven Pollard officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Hills Memory Gardens. Cousins will serve as pallbearers.
The family will receive friends Monday at the Forest Hills Chapel from 1:00 p.m. until the time of service. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made to Southwestern Virginia Training Center, Post Office Box 1328, Hillsville, VA 24342.
