JoeAnne Davis "Cookie", age 57, passed away on Tuesday, October 23, 2012 at Valley Health Care Center.
She is preceded in death by her mother, Polly Sue Rhea Gregory; and her loving husband of 30 years, Thomas Eugene Davis.
She is survived by her father, James Lawrence Gregory of Lebanon, VA; one daughter, Martha Davis; three brothers, Tom Gregory and wife Sue of Arkansas, William Gregory and wife Dency of Abingdon, VA, Graham Gregory and wife Kathy of Glade Spring, VA; four sisters, Arlene Stevenson and husband Derek of Abingdon, VA, Suzan Thomas and husband Robert of Glade Spring, VA, Mary Gregory of Kingsport, TN, and Carol Gregory of Bristol, VA; two grandchildren, Chase and Autumn.
A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, October 26, 2012 at Fall Hill Cemetery off Rt. 700 with Reverend Jerry Eggers officiating. Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 12:30-1:30 p.m., Friday at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Jacob Testerment Bland, James Rust, Anthony Harless, Derek Stevenson, and Donald Morrison, Jr.
