Joseph Mahlon Robinson, age 51, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, April 13, 2021 at his home in Delray Beach, Florida.Joe was the son of Peggy L. Robinson and the late John R. Robinson of Glade Spring, VA.
He graduated from Patrick Henry High School and James Madison University. He was very artistic and had careers in hospitality and real estate in Charleston, South Carolina, then in floral design in West Palm Beach, Florida. He was known for being a generous giver of “unique” gifts, and for sharing his talents of cooking and flower arranging. Loved by all, Joe was a special son, brother, uncle and loyal friend.
He is survived by his mother, his sister, Trish Capparelli and husband Mike, his brother, Jay and wife, Anita and nieces Kelsey Diehl and husband Jon, Grey Robinson, Mahlon Robinson, Catie Robinson, and nephew, Michael Capparelli.
The family will hold a celebration of his life at a later date.In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Glade Spring Presbyterian Church Memorial Fund for flowers in memory of Joe (P.O. Box 336 Glade Spring, VA 24340).
