Joshua Michael Tignor, age 46, of Bristol, Va., passed away on Saturday, October 7, 2017, at his home. He was born to the late Billy Joe Tignor and Princess Ann Simmons Tignor on March 29, 1971.
He is survived by his uncle, Buddy Simmons of High Point, N.C.; two aunts, Isla Roberts and Betty Fowler and husband, Ed, all of Thomasville, N.C.; best friend and family member, Karyn Adkins of Abingdon, Va.; and numerous friends.
A funeral ceremony will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, October 15, 2017, at the Forest Hills Chapel of Farris Funeral Service, 19415 Lee Highway, Abingdon, Va. 24210, with Pastor Travis Fletcher officiating. Entombment will follow in the Serenity Garden Mausoleum of Forest Hills Memory Gardens.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 246, Abingdon, Va. 24212.
