Joyce Ann Bryant

Joyce Ann Bryant, age 68, passed away at her home on November 4, 2011. She was a lifelong member of the Wyndale United Methodist Church in the Wyndale community. She was the daughter of the late Arthur and Lucy Whitt Fleenor. She was also preceded in death by two sisters, Marie Burnett and Sue Logan and three brothers, Donald, Edward and Charles Dennis Fleenor.

She is survived by her husband of 50 years, Millard Bryant of Piedmont, SC, her sons, Jonathan Bryant and wife, Kim of Atlanta, Georgia; Kevin Bryant of Abingdon, VA; her daughters, Pamela Bryant Owens of Anderson, SC; Angela Shain and husband, Eric of Simpsonville, SC; her brothers, Johnny, Michael and William Fleenor; her sisters, Linda Sloan and Brenda Vance, seven grandchildren and one great grandchild.

Funeral services for Mrs. Joyce Ann Bryant will be held Monday, November 7, 2011 at 1:00 P.M. at the Wyndale United Methodist Church, with the Reverend Nelson C. Woody officiating. Burial will follow at the Wyndale United Methodist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the Main Street Chapel of Farris Funeral Service from 6:00 until 8:00 PM on Sunday, November 6, 2011. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that in Joyce's honor contributions be made to the Wyndale United Methodist Church, 17201 Wyndale Road, Abingdon, VA 24210.
