Joyce Jacqueline Wellman Richardson, 85, passed away Tuesday, February 27, 2018 at Johnston Memorial Hospital. Mrs. Richardson was a 1951 graduate of Big Creek High School and lived most of her life in McDowell County, W.Va. before moving to Bristol in 1997. She is preceded in death by her parents, Fred E. Wellman and Florida Marie Mullens Wellman, and her brother Jerry Wellman.
Mrs. Richardson is survived by her husband of 58 years, Kenneth C. Richardson; daughter Fredda Richardson and husband Jay Browning of Thomasville, N.C.; several nieces and nephews; and many friends.
A private cryptside service will be held in the Colonial Chapel Mausoleum of Forest Hills Memory Gardens.
