Judy Dollar

Judy Skeen Dollar, 66, passed away Monday, May 21, 2012 at Augusta Health & Rehabilitation Center in Fishersville, VA. Mrs. Dollar was a member of High Point Baptist Church in Meadowview and enjoyed being a volunteer for the Abingdon Little League for numerous years with her husband. Judy is preceded in death by her parents, Ray and Augusta Paris Skeen, her husband, Resinol Dollar, Sr., four sisters and three brothers.

She is survived by her son, Reggie (Kristan Crummett) Dollar of Mt. Sidney, VA; daughter, Elaine (Hugo) Gonzalez of Towncreek, AL; two brothers, Malcom (Veretta) Skeen of Morristown, TN and Roy (Lou) Skeen of Bristol, VA; seven grandchildren, Emma & Ella Dollar, Aubrey & Ashton Puckett; Ivannoel, Pierre and Huembia Gonzalez.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 P.M. Sunday, May 27, 2012 at the Main Street Chapel of Farris Funeral Service with Rev. David Critcher , Rev. Bart Richardson, and Rev. Stephen Richardson officiating. Interment will follow at Mountain View Methodist Cemetery with Burton Yarber, Baron Yarber, Chad Childress, Jamie Sullins, Eugene Jackson and Marty Lloyd serving as active pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be William Moore, Jeff Stiltner and Sam Henry.
