Kathleen Henley

Kathleen Henley, age 90, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday ,October 19, 2011, at Cambridge House in Bristol, TN. She was born October 25, 1920, in Washington County, VA and was a daughter of the late Elverson and Anna Johnson Reynolds. She was a member of the First Assembly of God Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, T.C. Henley; five brothers: Taylor, Bernard, Wiley, E.H. and Robert Reynolds; and three sisters: Gertrude DeFriece, Lucy McVey, and Ruby Reynolds.

Survivors include her son, James C. Henley and wife Mildred of Abingdon; daughter, Lena Hatfield and husband James of Chester, VA; sisters, Margaret Reynolds Ford and husband Bill of Bristol, TN; and Mary Reynolds Branson of Newport News, VA; sister-in-law, Edith Davenport Reynolds, wife of the late Wiley Reynolds; grandchildren: Sharon Hatfield Lawrence and husband Kenneth; James Allen Henley and wife Pamela; Jeffrey Lee Henley and wife Michelle; and Ronnie G. Henley and wife Lisa; seven great-grandchildren; four great-great- grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

The family would like to acknowledge and express thanks to Cambridge House staff and associates; her in home caregivers, and Nikki Henley.

The funeral service for Mrs. Henley will be conducted at 2:00 P.M. Sunday, October 23, 2011, at the Main Street Chapel of Farris Funeral Service with Pastor Roger Williams officiating. Interment will follow at Forest Hills Memory Gardens. Pallbearers will be James Allen Henley, Jeffrey Lee Henley, Sr., Ronnie G. Henley, Kenneth Lawrence, Mark Ford and Michael Reynolds.

The family will receive friends at Farris Funeral Service from 6:00 8:00 P.M. Saturday, October 22, 2011.
