Linda Darlene Barrett

Linda Darlene Barrett, age 62, of Bristol, Va., passed away on Wednesday, May 18, 2016, at Bristol Regional Medical Center. She was the fourth of ten children born to the late Garnett Ray Lewis and Emma Lee Harless Lewis.

In addition to her parents, Darlene was also preceded in death by her sister, Dorothy Jane Rouse.

She is survived by her husband of 44 years, Eddie Lee Barrett; two daughters, Vickie Barrett of the home and Amy (Jason) Taylor of Kingsport, Tenn.; three brothers; five sisters; grandson, Kasen Taylor; and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be from 12:00 p.m.-2:00 p.m. Monday, May 23, 2016, at the Main Street Chapel of Farris Funeral Service. A graveside service will be held at 2:30 p.m. Monday at Mountain View Methodist Cemetery with Pastor Tracy Puckett officiating.
