Linda Sue Osborne Owens, age 72, passed away on Wednesday, June 19, 2019 at her home. She was born in Smyth County, VA. Linda loved people and enjoyed all of her customers at Road Runner. She took great pride in tending to her flowers. Often times, she would spend her entire day in the garden. Linda was of the Christian Faith.
She was predeceased by her parents Page and Helen Osborne, her husband Sammy Owens, Sr., and brothers Ben and John Osborne.Linda is survived by her son Bo Owens and wife Bonnie; bothers Avery Osborne and Stuart “Shortty” Osborne and wife Polly; sisters Janet Marion and husband Stephen, Mildred Vannoy and Mary Socarras and husband Armando; grandchildren Leigh Anne and Andy Holmes, and 4 great grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, June 26, 2019 at Mount Olivet Cemetery in Glade Spring, VA with Paul Price officiating. Those attending the service are asked to meet at the cemetery.
