Lola Elizabeth Abel Hutton passed away on Saturday, July 20, 2013 at Holston Valley Medical Center. She was a member of Abingdon Baptist Church and was an avid gardener.
She was born to the late David Alexander Abel and Rosa McCray Abel. She is also preceded in death by her husband, Ancel C. Hutton, Jr.; and sister, Ottolene Abel.
She is survived by two sons, David Hutton and wife Rebecca of Concord, TN and Jeff Hutton of Meadowview, VA; two brothers, Garnet Abel of Bristol, TN and David Abel of Abingdon, VA; three grandchildren, Krista Stevenson, Misty Hughes, and Elizabeth Hutton; and great granddaughter, Addie Stevenson.
Visitation will be from 2:00-3:00 p.m., Tuesday, July 23, 2013 at the Forest Hills Chapel of Farris Funeral Service. A funeral service will be held at 3:00 p.m., Tuesday with Reverend Parke L. Deans officiating. Interment will follow in Forest Hills Memory Gardens where Jeff Hutton, David Hutton, Gene Hughes, Cameron Puckett, David Eskridge, and Benny Weaver will serve as pallbearers.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105, or the charity of your choice.
