Lorraine Dales Wysor

Meadowview, VA – Lorraine Dales Wysor, age 84, passed on Saturday, September 30, 2017, in Greendale Home for the Aged. Lorraine resided in Buchanan County, VA before moving to Meadowview in 1974 and became a member of Landmark Baptist Church. She is preceded in death by her parents, Edward and Victoria Deel Dales; husband, George Henry Wysor; and brother, William Dales.

Lorraine is survived by her son, Charlie Wysor and wife Shirley of Meaodwview, VA; daughter, Debra Ecker of Houston, TX; step daughter, Patricia Warner of Claypool Hill, VA; sister, Helen Owens and husband Basil of Roanoke, VA; grandchildren, Joan Bumgarner, Brian Massey, Heather Lambert, Jessica Fu, and Sarah Lambert; several great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

Visitation with the family will be held 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, October 4, 2017, in the Forest Hills Chapel, 19415 Lee Highway, Abingdon, VA, of Farris Funeral Service. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Thursday in the Forest Hills Chapel with Rev. Dean Lundy and Pastor Jay Overbay officiating. Interment will follow in Forest Hills Memory Gardens with Wayne Davenport, Jr., David O’Quin, Jerry Warner, Fred Holbrook, Tom Sargant, and Joe Robinson Serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be the men of Landmark Baptist Church.
