Mabel Lois Harrison, age 84, died at her home in Houston, Texas on Tuesday, December 7, 2010. She was born in the Wyndale community of Washington County and was the daughter of Eugene Lee and Pearl Mae Saltz Hudler.
Survivors include her husband of over 64 years: James E. (Jack) Harrison of Houston, TX; one son: Gary Harrison of Houston, TX; one grandson: Kyle Harrison, U. S. Army, Ft. Knox, KY; and one brother: Roy Hudler of Bristol, VA.
Funeral services for Mabel Lois Harrison will be held in the mausoleum chapel at Knollkreg Memorial Park at 2:00 PM Monday, December 13, 2010, with the Rev. Bud Pate officiating. Burial will follow the service.
Pallbearers will be: Keith Harrison, Jerald Harrison, Gene Hearl, Tony Harrison, Kyle Harrison and Gene Hall.
The family will receive friends Sunday, December 12, 2010, from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at Farris Funeral Service, 427 East Main Street, Abingdon, VA.
