Margaret Kate Dawson Price

Margaret Kate Dawson Price, born May 10, 1928 passed away peacefully with family surrounding her on January 12, 2016.
Born in Saltville, VA she was a daughter of the late Robert and Minnie Dawson. Mrs. Price married her husband the late, Charlie Price in January 1946 and she was of the holiness faith. Kate lived most of her life in Meadowview, Va. where she enjoyed her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She will be greatly missed; she filled our hearts with love.
In addition to her parents and her husband, she was preceded in death by one son, Dennis Price, one brother, Billy and three sisters, Pauline, Maxine and Mary Sue.
Mrs. Price is survived by three daughters, Dixie Page (Tim), Linda Stevens (Henry), and Debbie Hurley (Joe), six grandchildren, Judy Mays (Mike), Robert Harris (Juanita), Edward Stevens, Kristen Stevens Klier, Anna Hurley Karousis (Rantz), Megan Schneller (Drew), seven great-grandchildren, Michael, Ashley, Austin, Christian, Kasey, Patryk, and Kennedy.
The funeral service will be conducted 7 p.m. Friday, January 15, 2016 in the Main Street Chapel of Farris Funeral Service with Pastor Les Ketron officiating. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 5-7 p.m. A committal service will be conducted 11 a.m. Saturday, January 16, 2016 in Forest Hills Memory Gardens. Those wishing to attend are ask to meet at the funeral home to go in procession by 10:40 a.m. Pallbearers will be friends and family.
