Mr. Mark Allen Parks, age 57, passed away, Tuesday, February 14, 2017 in Johnston Memorial Hospital.
Mark was born January 19, 1960 in Washington Co., VA to the late Kenneth Fred Parks, Sr. and June Jenkins Parks. He was a graduate of Virginia Intermont College and enjoyed painting and photography. Mark was a friend to everyone.
Besides his mother he is survived by his daughter, Leslie Charleen Perry and husband, Tanner Justin Perry of Piney Flats, TN; one son, Carson Parks of Bristol, TN; one brother, Kenneth Fred Parks, Jr. Bristol, TN; nephew, Bradley Allen Parks of Johnson City, TN; mother of his children, Cynthia Clark of Bristol, TN; special friend, Sally Tipton of Abingdon; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
A celebration of life lead by Rev. Barbara Farmer will be conducted from 6-8 p.m. Monday, February 20, 2017 at Pleasant View United Methodist Church, 18416 Lee Highway, Abingdon, VA 24210.
