Martha Ellison Bailey

Martha Ellison Bailey, age 64, and formerly of Abingdon, VA, passed away on Sunday, May 18, 2014 in Monroeville, PA. Martha was born in Abingdon, VA to the late Charles and Ada Ellison. She was a devout Christian, a world traveler, and a member of the family-based Omega Ministries. However, nothing gave her greater joy than spending time with her loving, devoted family. In addition to her parents, Ms. Bailey was preceded in death by her sister, Miriam England. She is survived by her daughter, Ramona Spencer and her husband Justin Spencer of Turtle Creek, PA; and by four granddaughters, Candice Green, Jasmine Green, Alissa Green, and Katelyn Green. She is also survived by her six siblings, Mary Nieves, Clara Bristol, Charles Ellison, Gertrude Lucas, Patricia Sauve and Christina Ellison. Funeral Services will be held at 12:00 p.m. Saturday, May 24, 2014 at the Main Street Chapel of Farris Funeral Service with Pastor Herbert Scott officiating. Interment will follow in High Point Cemetery with family and friends serving as pallbearers. Visitation with the family will be held from 10:00a.m.-12:00p.m. just prior to the service.
