Glade Spring, VA- Matthew Lewis, 4lbs. 8oz. 16 in., was born to Matthew M. Lewis and April V. Lewis at Bristol Regional Medical Center and went to be with the Lord and his paternal great grandfather, John Lewis, on Tuesday, April 29, 2014. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his paternal grandfather, Michael Lewis and wife Stephanie; paternal grandmother, Pamela Gibson; maternal grandfather, Mark Vance and wife Bonnie all of Abingdon, VA; maternal grandmother, Joan Minor of Rose Hill, VA; paternal great grandparents, Loretta Lewis and Herbert and Lucille Duncan of all of Abingdon, VA; maternal great grandparents, James and Ina Vance and Ray and Susie Minor all of Abingdon, VA; two aunts, Autumn Porter of Rose Hill, VA and Maggie Lewis; and two uncles, Eli Porter and Andrew Gibson all of Abingdon, VA. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, May 4, 2014 at Forest Hills Memory Gardens with the Reverend Barbara Farmer officiating.
