Mildred L. Bailey, 90, passed away on Thursday, September 27, 2018, at the Christian Care Center of Bristol, Tenn.. She retired from Raytheon Corporation after 30 years of service. Mildred was of the Presbyterian faith, and she was a faithful reader of the Bible. She spent time in prayer every day.
Mildred was the last surviving member of her immediate family. She was preceded in death by her parents Clarence and Emma Adell Bailey, her sister Francis (Flo) Bailey, and her brother Ralph Bailey. Her survivors include her aunt Marybelle Jackson and several cousins.
A cryptside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, September 30, 2018 at Knollkreg Memorial Park Mausoleum with Rev. John Markel officiating. She will lie in state in the mausoleum for one hour prior to the service.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorial contributions be made to a favorite charity.
The family extends heartfelt thanks and appreciation to her friends and neighbors and the staff at Christian Care Center and Ballad Health, Bristol, Tenn., who supported her with love and kindness during her illness.
