Millard Alexander Bryant, Jr.

Millard Alexander Bryant, Jr., age 79, of Piedmont, S.C., passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Sunday, July 17, 2022, at Prisma Health Greenville Memorial Hospital in South Carolina.
Millard was born December 15, 1942, to the late Millard Alexander Bryant, Sr. and Lizzie Belle Parson Bryant in Abingdon, Va. Millard retired from the United States Air Force as a Master Sergeant after 20 years of service. He obtained his Bachelor of Arts degree in Business from Virginia Intermont College. Millard enjoyed spending time at the beach with Joyce, hunting, and fishing. His wit and humor will be missed at the local pub.
In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his loving wife of 49 years, Joyce Ann Bryant; and his sister, Elizabeth Stamper.
He will be remembered as a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather. Millard is survived by his brother, Lee Bryant of Bristol, Va.; four children: John Bryant and wife, Cathy, of Atlanta, Ga.; Pam Parker and husband, Dennis, of Duffield, Va.; Kevin Scott Bryant of Abingdon, Va.; and Angela Shain and husband, Eric, of Greenville, S.C.; nine grandchildren; and five great grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held on Friday, July 22, 2022, at 2:00 p.m. at Wyndale United Methodist Church Cemetery with the Rev. Luther Roberts officiating. Military honors will be provided by the United States Air Force.
