Nancy Linda Bailey Lowe

Honaker, VA – Nancy Linda Bailey Lowe, age 73 and formerly of Abingdon, VA, passed on Friday, July 1, 2022, at her home. Linda was a graduate of Abingdon High School. She and her late husband, Rev. Gene Lowe, owned and operated Abingdon Glass and Mirror Company for over 30 years. As a minister’s wife, Linda was the church pianist and fulfilled many other capacities within the church. She was a devoted wife, mother, and Nana. Her grandchildren were her pride and joy and her greatest blessings!

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents, Virgil Lewis Bailey and Mamie Ruth Graybeal Bailey; and brother-in-law, Ellis Flanagan.

Linda is survived by her daughter, Kelly Lowe Statzer of Abingdon, VA; grandchildren, Hoyt and Saylor Statzer; brothers, Rev. Herbert Bailey and wife Pat, Donald Bailey and wife Brenda, and Barry Bailey and wife Beverly; sisters, Francie Flanagan, and Madeline Harrington and husband Willis; and several nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be conducted at 3:00 p.m. Tuesday, July 5, 2022, in Forest Hills Memory Gardens with Rev. Herbert Bailey officiating. Those wishing to attend the service are asked to meet at the cemetery.
