Mrs. Nancy Roark Hubbard, 68, passed away January 18, 2018 at her home.
Nancy was born August 11, 1950 in Washington County, Va. to the late Claude Roark and the late Bonnie Campbell Roark. Nancy loved sitting on her back porch watching her dogs play.
Besides her parents, Nancy is preceded in death by her husband, Bufford Hubbard, and one brother, Don Roark.
Nancy is survived by her son James Hubbard and girlfriend Louise Helton of Meadowview, Va.; brother Ron Roark of Abingdon; grandchildren, Rose Lunford of Mountain City, Tenn. and Amy Cordell of Richlands, Va.; special friends, Priscilla Boarders and husband John of Abingdon, Shelia Holmes and husband Wayne (the cook) of Meadowview, Va., and Sr. Airman Shelby Williams of Meadowview, Va. She is also survived by her two dogs, Rosco and Taylor, and her bird, Zeke.
A graveside service will be conducted Monday, January 22, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. in Bethel Presbyterian Cemetery with the Rev. Jerry Eggers officiating. Everyone is asked to meet at the cemetery by 1:50 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donation may be made to the American Humane Society, 1400 16th St. NW, Suite 360, Washington, D.C. 20036.
