Norma Jean Griffith, 66, passed away to be with the Lord on Sunday, July 19, 2009 at the Johnston Memorial Hospital.
She is survived by her daughter, Patricia Boardwine of Meadowview, VA; a son, Corbett Hunt of Meadowview, VA; seven grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren.
A graveside service for Mrs. Griffith will be held Wednesday, July 22, 2009 at 4:00 p.m. in the Baptist Cemetery, Glade Spring, VA, with Rev. John Stapleton officiating. There will be no visitation in the funeral home. Those attending the service are asked to meet at the cemetery by 3:50 p.m. on Wednesday. Pallbearers will be Robert Scarborough, Mike Sadler, Scotty Boardwine, Jeremy Boardwine, Josh Johnson, John Fields. The family offers a special thanks to friends Howie Hawkins, Jan Decker and Robert Scarborough.
