Norma Jewell Hackney Hill

Abingdon, VA- Norma Jewell Hackney Hill passed away peacefully at her home on Monday, October 13, 2014 surrounded by her family. She was born to the late Laughton Hackney and Addie Sutherland Hackney. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her son, William Bennie Hill. She is survived by her husband of 72 years, William Henry Hill; three daughters: Constance Hill Hargroves of Bristol, VA; Sharon Hill Arrington of Abingdon, VA; and Kathryn Hill Sheets and husband Ross of Smith Mountain Lake, VA; and her precious grandchildren. A graveside service will be held at 3:00 p.m. Tuesday, October 14, 2014 in the mausoleum of Knollkreg Memorial Park with the Reverend Barbara Farmer officiating.
