Oscar William Lawson

Oscar William "Bill" Lawson, age 82, passed away on Sunday, December 2, 2012 at the Wellmont Hospice House in Bristol, TN. Born in Pittsburgh, PA, he was the son of the late Oscar William Lawson, Sr. and Susan Hughes Lawson. He retired from Westinghouse in 1994 with 46 years of service, was a member of both the York #12 Masonic Lodge at Maple Grove and Liberty Hall #104 Masonic Lodge in Damascus, and a member of Sinking Spring Presbyterian Church.
Survivors include his wife of 60 years, Janet L. Lawson; three daughters, Marsha Jo Linkous and husband Roger of Bristol, TN, Michelle Ann McCracken and husband Mark of Nashville, TN, and Donna Tomasic and husband Duke of Pittsburgh, PA; three sisters, Grace Basic and Frances Lawson, both of Pittsburgh PA, and Dorothy Marth of Woodbridge, VA; four grandsons and six great grandchildren.
Honoring the wishes of Mr. Lawson, there will be no visitation or funeral services. Memorials may be made to the Wellmont Hospice House, 280 Steeles Road, Bristol, TN 37620.
