Owen Wayne Fields, age twenty-one months, passed away Tuesday, October 19, 2010. Born January 16, 2009, Owen faced many challenges in his short life. He touched many lives and brought joy and happiness to those who loved him.
Those who will grieve his passing include his parents, Jason and Susan Fields; paternal grandparents, Eddie Wayne and Marie Fields; and maternal grandparents, Wayne and Molissia McCroskey, all of Abingdon; great-grandparents: Fred and Patsy McCroskey and Virginia Mae Barr, also of Abingdon; and aunts Christy M. Bullins and husband Lonnie of Abingdon and Amanda G. Cosentino of Abingdon.
The funeral service for Owen Fields will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, October 22, 2010, at Valley View Baptist Church, Rich Valley Road, Abingdon, with Rev. Kenneth Widner officiating. Burial will follow in the Valley View Baptist Church cemetery. Pallbearers will be Chris Brooks and Daniel Garrett.
The family will receive friends on Friday at the church from noon until the time of the funeral service.
