Patricia Ann Yarber Bise

Patricia "Pat" Ann Yarber Bise, age 74, passed away on November 30, 2013 at Johnston Memorial Hospital. She was born on April 15, 1939 in Charlestown, WV to the late Don and Katherine Yarber and moved to Glade Spring, VA at age 5.
She was a lifelong resident of Glade Spring, VA, and a member of Rosedale Baptist Church. Pat had a deep and special love for her children; they always came first in her life. She had a caring and kindness about her toward her family, friends and strangers that can't be put into words.
She was preceded in death by her brother W.H. Yarber and her sister Peggy Owens.
Pat is survived by her husband Thomas "Blue" Bise of the home; 2 sons Donnie Allison and wife Cindy of Glade Spring, VA, Mike Allison and fiance' Debbie Davidson of Abingdon, VA; 1 daughter Lisa Starkey and husband Jimmy of Meadowview, VA; grandson Eric Allison and wife Brandi of Meadowview, VA; 2 great grandsons Gaven and Parker Allison; sisters Monnie Wright and husband Claude of Chatsworth, GA, Sue Warren and husband Joe of Glade Spring, VA, Omagine Brewer and husband Ray of Glade Spring, VA, and Nancy Chit-Khin and husband Ronnie of Meadowview, VA; several nieces and nephews. Survivors also include her best friend Janet Rogers and her dearly loved friends, Employees of Kiser Furniture.
Pat will be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, mother-in-law, sister and friend. She will be deeply missed, once she was in your life, you were never quite the same.
A funeral service honoring Pat's life will be held Monday evening at 7:00 pm in the Farris Funeral Chapel with Rev. John Stapleton officiating. The family will receive friends from 5:00 pm 7:00 pm at the funeral home prior to the service. Interment will be at 11:00 am Tuesday December 3, 2013 in the Rosedale Baptist Church Cemetery. Those wishing to join the family in procession to the cemetery are asked to meet at the funeral not later than 10:30 am on Tuesday.
