Ralph Benton Tudor

Glade Spring, VA - Ralph Benton Tudor , age 57 , formerly Newport News , Va. passed away on Thursday , March 30 , 2017 at Johnson Memorial Hospital . He was born to Charles Kenneth Tudor and Millie Walker Tudor in Logan W.Va on October 9, 1959 . Ralph was a graduate of Hampton Roads Academy where he played on the varsity football team that had an undefeated season in 1978. In 1986 he graduated from Emory and Henry College where he received his B.A. in Business. He recently retired from C.A. Barrs as a construction foreman.

In addition to his parents, Ralph is survived by his wife, Kari Kemper Tudor; three brothers Charles Walker Tudor and wife Catherine of Greenville, N.C., Guy Collier Tudor and wife Carolyn of Weyers Cave, Va., and Blaine Edward Tudor and wife Heather of Virginia Beach, Va.; step-son Ben Chambers and wife Cindy of Washington, D.C.; his father’s wife Sandra, and many nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles . Ralph leaves behind many friends and acquaintances that his life impacted with his love of life and sincere empathy for others.

A memorial service will be held at Hilton Christian Church in Newport News Saturday,April 8th at 11 AM . A graveside service will be held in Tazewell Va. at a later date . In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hilton Christian Church or the charity of your choice
