Ralph Mullins, age 83, passed away on Thursday, July 19, 2012 at Wellmont Hospice House. He was a member of Heavenly Rest Freewill Baptist Church.
He was born to the late George D. Mullins and Nora Stanley Mullins in Dickenson County, Virginia. He is also preceded in death by two brothers, Jim B. Mullins and Ernest Mullins.
He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Mary Ann Mullins; two sons, Jerry Wayne Mullins and wife Janet of Bristol, TN and Dennis Wade Mullins and wife Debbie of Nashville, TN and their respective families; two brothers, George Junior Mullins and wife Billie of Clintwood, VA and Shelton Gene Mullins and wife Betty of Midlothian, VA; one sister, Jearline Sluss and husband Cline of Clintwood, VA; one grandson, Jason Mullins and wife Jessica of Bristol, TN; two great grandchildren, Dominic Mullins and Devon Mullins; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A cryptside service will be held at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, July 21, 2012 at Forest Hills Memory Gardens in the Chapel of Memories Mausoleum with Pastor Charlie Harmon officiating. Those wishing to attend are asked to convene at 12:45 in the Chapel of Memories Mausoleum. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the family to defer the cost of final expenses.
