Randall Wayne Rutledge Sr.

Randall "Randy" Wayne Rutledge, Sr., 45 born June 30, 1965, went to be with the Lord on Monday, June 13, 2011.
He was born in Front Royal, VA and lived most of his life in Washington Co., VA. He attended Friendship Chapel Baptist Church. He was a loving and caring husband and father. His determination to beat cancer inspired many.
He was the son of Linda Umbarger Rutledge and the late, John R. Rutledge. In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife, Donna Martin Rutledge, two sons, Randall W. Rutledge, Jr. and Danial R. Rutledge all of Abingdon; one sister, Angie Rutledge of Maryland; several aunts, uncles, cousins, friends and special friends, Lauren, Tori and Emily.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 P.M. Thursday, June 16, 2011 in the Main Street Chapel of Farris Funeral Service with Noah Stout and Wayne Arnold officiating. Interment will follow in Holston Valley Cemetery. Pallbearers will be David Martin, James Martin, Steven White, Rick Umbarger, John Rutledge, Colton Rutledge, Mitchell Lincoln and George Shrader. Honorary pallbearers are Randall Rutledge, Danial Rutledge, Ray Umbarger, Ronnie Umbarger, Gail Rutledge, Dickie Rutledge and Johnny White.
The family will receive friends at Farris Funeral Service from 6:00 8:00 P.M. Wednesday, June 15, 2011.
