Rebecca "Ann "Cullip White, 57, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, January 2, 2012 at her home.
Ann was a well-know resident of Washington County, VA. She was born July 25, 1954 in Abingdon , VA , the beautiful daughter of Robert Glen Cullip, Sr. and Lavinia Humphreys Cullip. Ann worked over 38 years in the banking industry and was the branch manager of BB&T Meadowview branch. She was a dedicated wife, mother and grandmother and enjoyed spending all of her free time with her loving family. Ann attended Highlands Fellowship.
She was preceded in death by her father, Robert Glen Cullip, Sr.
Survivors include her mother, Lavinia H. Cullip; her husband of 38 years, David Lee White; one son Matt White and his wife, Cassie of Meadowview; three daughters, Amy Widener and husband, Jamie of Bristol, VA, Ashley King and husband, Brian of Abingdon, Leigh Ann Denton and husband, Joe of Bristol, VA; one brother, Robert Cullip II and wife, Anne of Charlotte, NC; one sister, Patty Thomas and husband, Rick of Abingdon; her father-in-law and mother-in-law, Walter "Walt" and Frances White; seven grandchildren, Kiersten and Kiefer Widener, Jeremiah White, Landon and Lilly King, and Joleigh and Colton Denton; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews; and numerous friends.
The family will receive friends at the Main Street Chapel of Farris Funeral Service, 5:30 8:30 pm, Wednesday, January 4, 2012.
The funeral service will be held at 2pm, Thursday, January 5, 2012 at the Main Street Chapel of Farris Funeral Service with Rev. Jimmie Davidson officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Hills Memory Gardens . Pallbearers will be Trey White, Jason White, C.W. Price, Joe Owens, Bill Neese, and G.C. Brown. Honorary pallbearers will be Brandon White, Rick Thomas, Rick White, Doug Hill, Jim White, and Ernest Humphreys.
Flowers will be accepted or memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, Relay for Life, PO Box 246 , Abingdon , VA 24212
