Robert Miller Lampkins, Sr., age 77 died at his home on Wednesday, July 27th 2011 after a lengthy illness.
He was a lifelong resident of Washington County, Virginia, a member of the Mount Zion Baptist Church and a retiree of Reynolds Metals in Bristol, Virginia
He is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Geraldine J. Lampkins, his son, Robert M. Lampkins, Jr. of Johnson City, TN, his daughter, Faye Lampkins Yeargin of Emory, his son-in-law, William Yeargin and two loving Grandsons, Robert M. Lampkins, III of Johnson City, TN and Devan Cordell Yeargin of Emory. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews and a host of special
friends and family.
Funeral services will be held on Sunday, July 31, 2011 at 3:00 pm in the Main Street Chapel of Farris Funeral Service with visitation from 2:00 3:00. Interment will follow at Forest Hills Memory Gardens, Abingdon, Virginia.
