Rodney F. Stanley, 68, passed away on Tuesday, June 16, 2020, in Bristol Regional Medical Center. Rodney was a graduate of Osborne High School in Manassas, Va. and was a self-employed painter for many years.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Jimmie and Lorraine Sutherland Stanley; brother Gregory Stanley; and nephew Robert Larry Stanley, III.
Rodney is survived by his brother Larry Stanley and wife Lisa of Bealeton, Va.; sister Christina Vella of Johnson City, Tenn.; five children: Jason VanLuven, Shannon Simpson, Angie Michniewicz, Daniel Stanley and Carly Alexander; ten grandchildren; and one cat and one dog, Cracker and Jacks.
Rodney loved art, music, poetry, and life. He will be missed by many.
