Roscoe Carson Sherfey

Roscoe Carson Sherfey, age 64, of Glade Spring, Va., passed away on Saturday, April 23, 2016, at his home. He was born to the late Carson Columbus Sherfey and Rosa Lee Williams Sherfey on September 11, 1951.
He was also preceded in death by his son, Curtis Dwayne Sherfey; and three siblings.
Roscoe is survived by his wife of 42 years, Patricia Ann Sherfey; daughter, Melina Ann Greer of Bristol, Tenn.; two grandchildren, Frankie Greer and wife Kairee and Erika Greer all of Bristol, Tenn.; great granddaughter, Kylea Greer; and eight siblings survive.
A graveside service will be held at 3:00 p.m. Monday, April 25, 2016, at Greendale Cemetery with Wayne Baker officiating. Pallbearers will be Kenny Fleenor, Frankie Greer, Curtis Offield, John Sherfey, Kenny Sherfey, and G.P. Statzer.
In lieu flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the family. The family would like to extend a special thanks to Roscoes nurses, Katrina Smith and Rebecca Yarber.
