Rosemary Potter

Rosemary Potter, age 75, of the Hayter's Gap Community of Saltville, Va., passed away on Tuesday, May 4, 2021, at home with her family.  She was born July 25, 1945, to the late Bernard Francis Lyons, Sr. and Mary Theresa Kenyon Lyons in Wilmington, Delaware.  She was a devoted housewife and loving mother who harbored a passion for flower gardening.  Rosemary owned and operated Rose's Kitchen in Abingdon, Va. alongside her husband, Daniel, for nine years. 

She was preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, Daniel Eugene Potter, Sr.; daughter, Donna Marie Potter; an infant brother, Harry Bernard Lyons; brother, Bernard Francis Lyons, Jr.; and a sister, Patricia Ann Lyons.      

Rosemary is survived by two sons, Daniel Eugene Potter, Jr. and wife, Penny Denise, of Bristol, Tenn. and Christopher Scott Potter and wife, Robin Lynn, of Rural Retreat, Va.; three daughters: Michele Lynn Davis and husband, Eric Joseph Davis, Sr., of Saltville, Va.; Rose Marie Tome and husband, Bobby, of Abingdon, Va.; Mary Laurie Fraysier and husband, David, of Abingdon, Va.; brother, Harry Kenyon Lyons and partner, Marjie White, of Wilmington, Del.; nine grandchildren; and seven great grandchildren.
