Ruby Jean Lewis Roark, 67, passed on Monday, May 20, 2019. Ruby was preceded in death by her parents, David Lee Lewis and Rosa Lee Neal Lewis; sisters, Ann Gobble and Charlene Byars; granddaughter, Annabella Thomas; and son-in-law, Timothy Fields.
She is survived by two daughters, Tammy Fields of Abingdon, Va. and Heather (John) Hubbard of Chilhowie, Va.; three sons, Timmy (Libby) Roark of Bristol, Va., Tony (Donna) Roark of Bristol, Tenn., and Evan (Ashley) Roark of Austin, Texas; lifetime partner, Jimmy Riley; brothers, Dennis Campbell, Marvin Campbell, Edward Lewis, and Junior Lewis; sister, Nancy Hayworth; 17 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
Visitation with the family will be held 6-8 p.m. Thursday, May 23, 2019, in the Main Street Chapel of Farris Funeral Service. Graveside services will be conducted at 12:00 p.m. Friday in Rush Creek Cemetery with Pastor Junior Gobble officiating. Pallbearers will be Timmy Roark, Tony Roark, Lee Allen Roark, Tyler Roark, Steve Jones, and John Hubbard. Honorary pallbearers will be Jimmy Riley, Josh Thomas, Max Roark, Amy Roark, and Chloe Roark.
