Sandra Carmen Warden

Abingdon, VA – Sandra Carmen Warden, age 64, passed on Thursday, January 3, 2019, at her home.  Sandra was a graduate of Abingdon High School and attended Sinking Springs Presbyterian Church.  She served as a waitress and manager at various restaurants for many years and loved to cook and share stories. Sandra is preceded in death by her father, James Richard Warden; brother, James Richard “Rick” Warden, II; and nephew, Porter Harper. She is survived by her mother, Carmen Hazel York Warden of Abingdon, VA; niece, Pauly Johnson and husband Chris of Abingdon, VA; and great niece and nephew, Emily and Jack Johnson. A memorial service will be planned and announced at a later date. Those wishing to express sympathy online may do so by visiting www.farrisfuneralservice.com and signing the online guest register. The family of Sandra Carmen Warden is being cared for by Farris Funeral Service & Crematory, 427 East Main Street, Abingdon, VA 24210, (276) 623-2700.
