Sharon Gayle Edwards Rhudy

Sharon Gayle Edwards Rhudy, age 76, of Abingdon, Va., went to be with the Lord on Thursday, January 31, 2019. She was born September 14, 1942, in Dickenson County, Va. to the late Lonzo Edwards and Genola Lane Edwards. Sharon was of the Christian faith and loved quilting, puzzle books, reading, and spending time with her family. She will be missed by all who knew her.
In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her sister, Carol. Sharon is survived by three sons: Jeff Logan and wife, Sheri, of Florida; Barry Logan of Abingdon; and Keith Logan and wife, Lora, of Chilhowie, Va.; two sisters, Rita Salyers of Florida and Ann Orr of Abingdon; five grandchildren, Jennifer Strong and Brandon, Cory, Joshua, and Dalton Logan; five great grandchildren, Lakelyn, Kierslyn, Korie, Madison, and Maddox; and special friends, Mary and Hazel.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
The family would like to thank the staff at Abingdon Health and Rehab Center for all the loving care they provided for Sharon during the time of her illness.
