Shirley Ann Ray Fields, age 66, passed away on Wednesday, September 12, 2012 at Grace Healthcare. She attended Emmanuel Baptist Church.
She was born to the late James Hurt Ray and Bessie Edith Belcher Ray. She is survived by her loving husband of 46 years, Calvin M. Fields; son, Darby Fields of Atlanta, GA; daughter, Paula Hayter and husband Michael of Abingdon, VA; and two grandchildren, Rebecca Hayter and Cody Hayter both of Abingdon, VA.
A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, September 14, 2012 at Forest Hills Memory Gardens. Those attending are asked to convene by 1:45p.m., Friday at the cemetery near the flag poles.
