Abingdon, VA – Susan Ellen Fields Reece, age 69, passed on Tuesday, April 19, 2022, at her home. Susie was preceded in death by her parents, James Reece Fields, Sr. and Ethel Belle Reynolds Fields; husband, Mack Reece; daughter, Jestie Reece; son, Kenneth Scott Carter; and brother, Timothy Fields.
She is survived by her daughter, Sally Ann Doss; sisters, Jane Mitchell, Ella May Harless, Mary Taylor, and Patty Jean Hubbard; brothers, James “Jim” Reece Fields, Sr., and Chuck Fields; granddaughter, Sabrina Carter; special niece and nephew, Timothy Fields, Jr. and wife Carrie; adopted son, Jerry Graham; and several nieces and nephews.
Interment will be private in the Fields Family Cemetery.
