Suzanne "Susie" Byrd Eldreth, age 65, passed away on Wednesday, October 23, 2013. She was preceded in death by her parents Harry Byrd and Reba Abbott Byrd; and sister, Ainse Jennings.
She is survived by her husband of nearly 47 years, Wayne Douglas Eldreth; son, Mark Eldreth of the home; daughter, Kim Reynolds and husband Tony of Abingdon, VA; brother, Harry Wayne Byrd and wife Teri of Clio, WV; sister, Sharon Boggess of Clio, WV; brother-in-law, Clifford Jennings of Spencer Road, WV; three grandchildren, Dustin Reynolds, Zachary Reynolds, and Waylon Reynolds; and several special nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Friday, October 25, 2013 at the Main Street Chapel of Farris Funeral Service. A funeral service will be held at 8:00 p.m. Friday at the funeral home with Pastor Kevin Jennings officiating. A committal service will be held at 12:00 p.m., Saturday, October 26th with interment to follow in the Kestner-Eldreth Family Cemetery. Grandsons and nephews will serve as pallbearers.
