Teresangela Schiano, age 33, and formerly of Abingdon, VA, passed away on Saturday, March 8, 2014 in Eureka, CA.
She was preceded in death by her paternal grandfather, Antonio Schiano, and her maternal grandmother, Helen Williams.
She was born to Raymond Schiano and Donna Louise Odum Schiano on July 6, 1980 in Bristol, TN. In addition to her parents, she is survived by her sister, Elena Elizabeth Schiano and fianc�© Drew Thornton; paternal grandmother and namesake, Teresangela Schiano of Monte di Procida, Italy; two maternal grandfathers, Jack Odum and wife Linda of Englewood, OH and Earnie Warren of Elizabethton, TN; two uncles, Dennis Odum of Bluff City, TN and Ciro Schiano and wife Sereada of Richlands, VA; three aunts: Debbie Mollohan of Bluff City, TN; Jackie MacLeod of Punta Gorda, FL; and Marisa Graziano and husband Luigi of Lebanon, VA; and several additional aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. Saturday, March 15, 2014 in the mausoleum of Mountain View Cemetery, 1019 East Valley Drive, Bristol, VA 24201. A funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday in the mausoleum with Pastor Stephen Talbert officiating. Interment will follow in Mountain View Cemetery where Carmine Graziano, Brandon Guilmette, David Odum, Dennis Odum, John Romano, and Ciro Schiano will serve as pallbearers. Flowers will be accepted.
