Thomas Dale DeFriece

Thomas "Dale" DeFriece, age 59, of Abingdon, Va. and formerly of Rockville, Md., passed away on Wednesday, August 18, 2021, at his home. He was born on November 2, 1961, in Bethesda, Md. to Dallas Haskel DeFriece and Lucille Forrester DeFriece. He was friendly and never knew a stranger.
Dale was preceded in death by his father; sister, Shirley Dodson; and brother, Dallas E. "Speedy" DeFriece.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his mother; daughter, Rachel DeFriece; three brothers, Harold DeFriece and wife, Helen, of Gettysburg, Penn.; Jack DeFriece of Dickerson, Md.; and Fred DeFriece of Westminster, Md.; two sisters, Sissy Ellis and husband, Robert of Frederick, Md. and Kim DeFriece of New Market, Md.; one grandson; special friend, Alyce Hall of Damascus, Va.; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held in Maryland at a later date.
