Mr. Thomas Warren Orr, Jr., age 68, passed away Saturday October 19, 2013 at Valley Healthcare Center. Mr. Orr was born November 21, 1944 in Newport News, VA to the late Thomas Warren Orr, Sr. and Helen Trussell Orr. Tom spent much of his time searching for Indian relics and loved American Civil War history.
He is survived by his wife, Norma Ann Orr; sons, Bryan Orr of Oscoda, MI, Chad Orr of Apollo Beach, FL, and Rusty Orr of Bristol, TN; daughter, Kayla Orr of Abingdon, VA; brothers, Billy Orr of North Carolina and Bobby Orr of Newport News, VA; and four grandchildren, Alex, Jacob, Brenden and Chase Orr.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, October 23, 2013 at the Forest Hills Chapel of Farris Funeral Service with Pastor Mark Gaminde officiating. Entombment will follow in Serenity Gardens Mausoleum at Forest Hills Memory Gardens with Chad Orr, Rusty Orr, Kayla Orr, Victor Sykes, Terry Sykes, and Eric Roberts serving as pallbearers.
Visitation with the family will be held 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at the Forest Hills Chapel of Farris Funeral Service.
