Timothy Franklin Davis

Timothy Franklin Davis, age 65, of Abingdon, Va., went to be with the Lord on Thursday, August 30, 2018, one day shy of his 66th birthday. He was born to the late Bernie Lee Davis and Pauline Fowler Davis in McDowell County, W. Va. Tim retired from Magnet Coal Company in Logan County, W.Va. and locally was employed by Hapco.
In addition to his mother, Tim is survived by his wife of 42 years, Darlene Walker Davis; three daughters: Jessica Pauline “J.P.” Davis husband, Erik, of Abingdon, Va.; Miranda “Mandy” Faye Davis of Middleburg, Fla.; and Melanie Hope Davis of Jacksonville, Fla.; a close niece: Kelly Hatfield Lampton of Leitchfield, Ky.; a close nephew: Michael Ray VanNatter Jr. of Man, WV; four siblings: Cameron Davis and wife, Millie, of Grundy, Va.; Rev. Darrell Davis of Abingdon, Va.; Scott Davis and wife, Beth; and Johnny Davis and wife, Marilyn, all of Coal Mountain, W. Va.; three grandchildren, Karaline Davis, Tessa Blankenship, and Libby Blankenship.
