Abingdon, VA – Timothy Ryan Lawson, age 33, passed on Wednesday, January 20, 2021. Timothy was a graduate of John Battle High School. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Eugene and Helen Hathaway; paternal grandparents, Lewis and Mary Lawson; and brother, Christopher Michael Lawson.
He is survived by his parents, Ted and Faye Lawson of Abingdon, VA; children, Ryan Gregory Lawson and Riley Hicks; girlfriend of nine years, Tina Walden, and her children, Cameron and Callisue; nephew, Chandler Lawson; nieces, Abigail and Whitney Lawson; and several aunts and uncles.
A memorial service will be held 4:00 p.m. Sunday, January 24, 2021, at the Gathering Place with Randy Camper and Jeremy Monk officiating. Visitation will be held 2:30-4. COVID-19 guidelines are to be observed. In lieu of flowers, memorial contribution may be made to help with final expenses.
